Whittier Elementary is a wonderful place to learn! We are a transitional kindergarten through fifth grade school located in culturally diverse central Long Beach. Whittier is a traditional year school. Our school provides students with a strong instructional program. High expectations for academic achievement are coupled with the right of all students to a safe and secure school environment.We encourage all of our students to become life-long learners and contributing members of society. We believe all students can learn and succeed. Our teachers and support staff work very hard to make sure all of our students receive the best possible education.
